Our story begins at a cluttered kitchen table in Stockholm, 1996, where friends Anett Jorméus and Susanne Liljenberg sat, frustrated by the eternal challenge of storage. A concept for functional and stylish storage solutions, along with comfortably simple everyday items, took shape. Things that would provide a lasting solution, beautifully.

We are not just a store; we are your companion on the journey towards a simpler life. We believe in form and function that endures and works everywhere. Sustainable and long-lasting, in a color palette that reflects the nature surrounding us. From day one, our motto has been clear: Simplify life.

Our business idea persists, and today Granit is present in four markets with over 40 stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Germany. Since 2008, we have been part of the Bergendahls Group. The stores are operated and owned 100% by Granit.
